1. Who we are
This policy explains how Niraj Academy for Excellence (“NAE”, “we”) handles personal data when you visit our website or use our courses. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.
2. What we collect
When you register or enrol, we collect your name, email address, mobile number and, for courses with printed books, your delivery address. We also receive confirmation of your payment from our payment partners.
When you visit the website we may collect non-personal data such as your IP address, browser type and operating system.
If you choose to, you may also give us a parent’s mobile number, your Class 12 percentage (to check a board-marks discount) and your target attempt. While you study, we keep your course progress and mock test marks.
3. How we use it
We use your information to provide the courses you have bought, give you access to lectures and tests, deliver books, and communicate with you about your account and classes.
We use non-personal data to improve the website and our services and to understand how the site is used.
We send batch updates and exam reminders on WhatsApp only if you tick the option to receive them. You can ask us to stop at any time.
4. Who we share it with
We do not share your personal data with third parties unless the law requires it or it is needed to provide the service you asked for. We may share it with service providers who help us run our courses, and we require them to protect it.
- Razorpay and PhonePe, to process payments
- Our courier partner, to deliver books
- Google Analytics, to understand website usage
- Our website host, Hostinger
- WhatsApp, for class communication you agree to
5. How we protect it
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, disclosure or destruction, and we require our service providers to do the same. Card and UPI details are entered only on our payment partners’ secure pages.
6. Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your personal data by logging into your account or by contacting us.
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may also withdraw consent you have given, and raise a complaint with our grievance officer at connect@nirajacademyforexcellence.com.
7. Students under 18
Many CA Foundation students are under 18. For students under 18 we ask for a parent or guardian’s consent before creating an account or processing their data.
8. Cookies and analytics
The website uses essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your cart, and Google Analytics cookies to measure visits. We do not use advertising cookies.
9. How long we keep data
We keep account and order records for as long as your account is active and for the period required by tax law, then delete or anonymise them.
